Celebrating National Apprenticeship Week 2026
This National Apprenticeship Week, Dorchester Living is proud to celebrate the people building the future of construction at Heyford Park. Apprenticeships play a vital role in developing skills, fostering careers, and shaping the next generation of industry talent.
Working alongside partners including Milton Keynes College Group and Abingdon and Witney College, Dorchester Living supports apprentices gaining hands-on experience while developing long-term careers in construction.
One inspiring example is Samuel Rozée, a Level 2 Painting and Decorating apprentice. After serving five years in the RAF and publishing his debut novel in 2023, Samuel made the switch to construction – and hasn’t looked back. His story highlights the diverse pathways apprentices can take and the opportunities the industry offers.
As CEO Paul Silver explains:
"Every apprentice brings something different, but all gain invaluable skills and a solid career to look forward to."
Dorchester Living is proud to celebrate National Apprenticeship Week 2026 and the individuals and pathways that are shaping the future of construction.
